Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa met with the nation's football team in Doha, Qatar, on Friday. The team is there to compete in the Arab Cup 2025 tournament.
The meeting occurred during President Al-Sharaa's official visit to attend the Doha Forum 2025. Syria's Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan Al-Shibani, also attended.
President Al-Sharaa wished the athletes success in the upcoming competition. The Syrian national team is preparing for its matches in the regional football championship.
