Liberia has begun a final review to replace its national traffic law, which has remained unchanged for over half a century. The process aims to update regulations last established in 1972. Road Safety Action International (RSAI) led the effort. It held its second and final validation workshop in Monrovia on Thursday. The event brought together key stakeholders from Liberia's transport sector. Their goal was to assess a newly revised draft of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. This marks a critical step toward enacting modernized rules for the country's roads. The current law is widely viewed as outdated.
