An 18-year-old man faces arson charges after police say he set a sleeping subway rider on fire in Manhattan early Monday.
The attack occurred around 3 a.m. at Penn Station, a major transit hub. According to police, the victim was asleep on a train when the suspect ignited him.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital. Authorities have not released his current condition.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, is now in custody. He faces multiple charges, including arson and assault.
