The Scuderia Ferrari HP Formula 1 team will display the logo of ZYN, a smoke-free nicotine pouch, on its race cars starting this season. This move is part of a new partnership with ZYN's parent company, Philip Morris International (PMI).
The branding will appear at select Grand Prix events across upcoming racing seasons. ZYN is PMI's leading brand of nicotine pouches, which are tobacco-free products designed for adults who would otherwise continue to smoke.
The partnership places a "harm reduction" product in a prominent global spotlight. Tobacco harm reduction is a public health strategy that encourages adult smokers to switch to less harmful alternatives.
By partnering with one of motorsport's most iconic teams, PMI aims to increase visibility for its smoke-free portfolio. The company has stated a strategic goal to eventually replace cigarettes with smoke-free products.
