K-pop superstar group Twice will perform in Hong Kong this weekend as scheduled. The concert will take place at the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium.
The decision comes after several other events in the city were cancelled or postponed. This follows Hong Kong’s deadliest fire in decades.
The concert organizer announced on Friday that it will donate part of the ticket sales to support fire victims. It did not specify the exact amount.
Twice’s management company, JYP Entertainment, confirmed the plans on social media. The company stated the group would proceed with the scheduled performances.
