Israeli forces conducted a limited ground incursion into southern Syria on Tuesday, according to Syrian state media.
The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that six Israeli military vehicles advanced toward the village of Saida al-Hanout. The village is located in the Quneitra countryside, near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
The report did not mention any exchange of fire or casualties. Israeli authorities have not commented on the incident.
Such incursions are not uncommon in this region. Israel has conducted numerous military operations in Syria, often stating they target Iranian-backed forces or weapons shipments.
