Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has been honored as Africa’s Political Leader of the Year. The African Leadership Magazine (ALM) announced the award as part of its 2025 Persons of the Year Awards.
The ALM awards recognize individuals for their impact on the continent’s development. The selection process involves nominations from the public and a final review by the magazine’s editorial board.
In the same awards, Namibia’s Minister of Health and Social Services, Esperance Luvindao, was named Africa’s Public Health Champion of the Year. This dual recognition highlights Namibia’s prominent role in African leadership and policy.
The awards ceremony will take place in February 2025. It will gather winners and dignitaries from across Africa and beyond.
