HSBC has secured a large office space in Hong Kong's busy Causeway Bay district. The bank will lease over 40,000 square feet across five floors of the Capitol Centre building.
According to public Land Registry records, the London-based bank signed a five-year lease. The agreement begins on May 18, 2026.
The exact size and rental price were not disclosed in the records. However, this move places HSBC among several major finance firms recently acquiring commercial property in the city.
As Hong Kong's largest bank, HSBC's commitment is seen as a significant endorsement of the city's office market. The deal was officially registered in late November.
