Israeli forces fired artillery shells into southern Syria from the occupied Golan Heights on Thursday evening. The attack targeted the area of Tal Ahmar Sharqi and the outskirts of the town of Kuwaya.
These locations are in the Yarmouk Basin, a region in the western countryside of Daraa province. The report originated from Syria's state news agency, SANA.
A SANA correspondent in Quneitra stated that the shelling followed an incursion by an Israeli military patrol. That patrol consisted of three armored vehicles entering the area from the occupied territory.
