Türkiye's Defense and Aviation Exports Hit Record $7.4 Billion

Türkiye's defense and aviation industry exports surged to a record high in the first eleven months of this year. The sector reported $7.4 billion in foreign sales from January through November, a 30% increase compared to the same period last year. Haluk Görgün, head of Türkiye's Defense Industries Agency, stated the growth demonstrates the sector's rising competitiveness. He attributed the success to a strategic focus on high-value products, which are complex, advanced technologies that command higher prices in international markets. This performance continues a trend of steady expansion for the industry. The increase in both export volume and product value has strengthened Türkiye's position in the global defense and aerospace market.
