Intoxicated Raccoon Rescued After Breaking into Virginia Liquor Store

A raccoon broke into a Virginia liquor store during the Thanksgiving holiday. The animal opened and consumed several bottles of alcohol before being found passed out on the bathroom floor. Staff from the Richmond Wildlife Center retrieved the raccoon. They reported it showed no signs of injury after sleeping off the effects. The center released the raccoon back into the wild. Officials stated they hope the animal "learned" from the experience.
