Seal Pup Makes Surprise Pub Visit in Richmond

A lost seal pup wandered into a pub in Richmond, London, on Sunday, causing a brief stir. The young animal entered through an open door and made its way toward the bathroom. Pub staff and customers were surprised but remained calm. They immediately contacted wildlife rescue authorities for assistance. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) responded to the call. Officials confirmed they had received several public reports about a seal in the Richmond area earlier that day. An RSPCA animal rescue officer safely contained the pup. They later released the healthy seal back into the River Thames, its natural habitat.
