Reform UK Receives Largest-Ever Single Donation Ahead of Election

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party has received a record £9mn donation from businessman Christopher Harborne. This single contribution surpasses the total donations received by both the Labour and Conservative parties in the first week of the general election campaign. The substantial funding from Harborne, a longtime supporter of Brexit and right-wing causes, provides a major financial boost to Reform UK. It allows the party to significantly expand its campaigning efforts nationwide. Official figures show Reform UK raised over £10.3mn in that period. In contrast, the Conservatives attracted just £292,500, while Labour received £934,000. This financial advantage highlights Reform UK's growing capacity to challenge the established parties. The donation will fund a wave of new advertising and grassroots activities in the final weeks before the July 4th vote.
