The Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) has a new leader. On Sunday, 17 May, Botswana's Tariq Babitseng was elected unopposed as COSAFA President during the 2026 Elective General Assembly in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The election also confirmed a new Executive Committee. The body will work to drive football development across the region in the coming years.
