UN Security Council Delegation Tours War-Damaged Damascus District

A United Nations Security Council delegation arrived in Damascus, Syria, on Monday. The group immediately toured the heavily damaged Jobar district to survey the destruction. The visit is part of a multi-day trip. The delegation plans to meet with Syrian government officials and local civil society groups.
