They spoke on Monday at the opening of the annual Hong Kong Legal Week forum. The event has drawn representatives from over 25 jurisdictions. Secretary for Justice Paul Lam Ting-kwok addressed the five-day forum’s opening ceremony. He said this year’s theme, “Linking Laws, Bridging Worlds,” highlights Hong Kong’s role in connecting different legal systems. Lam argued that the city’s unique position and deep talent pool are key assets. He stated these strengths can help solve complex cross-border legal and commercial challenges. The forum serves as a major platform for international legal exchange. It focuses on topics like dispute resolution and the evolving digital economy.
