Dutch Lawmaker Urges International Action to End Sudan War

A Dutch parliamentarian has called for stronger global efforts to stop the war in Sudan. Sarah Dobbe of the Socialist Party made the appeal during a visit to Radio Dabanga in Amsterdam.
Dobbe urged the Netherlands and the international community to intensify diplomacy to end the conflict. She also advocated for cutting the flow of weapons into Sudan.
The lawmaker further stressed the need to hold foreign actors accountable for prolonging the fighting. She specifically cited the United Arab Emirates as a key example.
