Jabalia residents buried two Palestinians on Monday after an Israeli airstrike struck a wake, marking another violation of the fragile ceasefire.
The attack in the northern Gaza town came as local health officials reported nearly 73,000 total deaths since the war began. The strike hit a gathering for mourning, killing two people and wounding several others.
Witnesses said the victims were among a group holding a funeral when the Israeli missile landed. The Israeli military has not commented on the incident.
The ceasefire, which took effect last month, was intended to halt hostilities. However, both sides have accused each other of violations. Since the truce began, Gaza health authorities say dozens more Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks.
The latest killings threaten to further erode the already shaky agreement. International mediators have urged both parties to respect the truce.
