An Omaha bar called the Barber Shop Blackstone has changed its name after the state’s Barber Board told the business it cannot use the word “barber” because it does not employ a licensed barber or offer haircuts. The establishment renamed itself this week to the Censored Shop Blackstone in protest. The bar is now suing the Nebraska state board in federal court, arguing the demand violates its free speech rights.
