Man Avoids Conviction in Trespassing Case at NFL Star's Home

A Kansas man will not face a criminal record for trespassing at the home of NFL star Travis Kelce. He reached a legal agreement known as a diversion deal. Under the terms approved by a Johnson County District Court judge, the man received one year of probation. He must also pay a $1,000 fine. The charge stems from an incident where the man allegedly entered the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's property without permission. A diversion program allows a defendant to avoid a formal conviction by meeting specific court-ordered conditions. If the man successfully completes his probation and pays the fine, the trespassing charge will be dismissed. The Johnson County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the resolution of the case.
