New data shows that most people detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Trump administration have no criminal record. An analysis by CBS News found that more than half of those detained had no criminal conviction.
Only about 8% were convicted of violent crimes. The data highlights a shift in enforcement focus under current policies.
