UAE Ambassador Presents Credentials in Damascus

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani formally received the credentials of the new United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Syria on Tuesday.
The ceremony took place in the Syrian capital, Damascus. Ambassador Hamad Rashid bin Alwan al-Habsi presented his credentials, marking the start of his official diplomatic mission.
The UAE restored full diplomatic relations with Syria in 2018. This move reopened its embassy in Damascus after a seven-year closure during the Syrian conflict.
