US Congressional Democrats released photographs and videos of Jeffrey Epstein's private Caribbean island on Wednesday. The material shows the luxury property where the convicted sex offender allegedly forced underage girls into sex with powerful men.
The images of Little St. James, Epstein's former hideaway, provide little new information about the wide-ranging scandal. Their release is largely symbolic.
However, the move increases pressure on the Trump administration. Democrats are urging officials to comply with a legal requirement to publish all investigative files from the multi-year probes into Epstein's activities.
Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide.
