The United Nations' top official for Bosnia and Herzegovina announced his resignation on Friday, issuing a stark warning that the country faces rising threats. Christian Schmidt, the High Representative, said the situation is becoming more dangerous. "I will underline that the country is moving along a narrowing path," Schmidt stated. His departure follows years of growing instability and tensions among Bosnia's three main ethnic groups. Schmidt did not specify a date for his resignation but urged international leaders to act quickly to prevent further conflict.
