A senior official with Doctors Without Borders says tens of thousands of wounded and sick people in Gaza need immediate medical evacuation.
Hani Islim, a project coordinator for the group, urged other nations to accept these patients. He stated that the number of people evacuated so far remains far too low.
Doctors Without Borders, known internationally as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), provides emergency medical care in crisis zones. The group is now calling for a major increase in international assistance to handle the overwhelming medical needs in Gaza.
