Israeli military personnel entered several villages in the southern Quneitra countryside on Wednesday, according to a report from Syria's state news agency, SANA.
A SANA reporter stated that an Israeli patrol moved from the Adnaniya area. The forces set up a temporary checkpoint near the village of Umm Azam.
The reported ground activity coincided with three separate Israeli military actions in the area. The nature of these simultaneous actions was not detailed in the initial report.
Quneitra is located in southwestern Syria, bordering the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The region frequently sees military activity.
