China Develops AI for Ports Using Vast Operation Data

China is training a new artificial intelligence tool to support its port industry. The system uses what officials call the "world's largest" data set of port operations. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) is leading the project. According to deputy director Li Chao, the data covers the most comprehensive range of real port business scenarios available. The AI application aims to assist technological research and development.
