Russia and Ukraine have confirmed a three-day ceasefire, negotiated by the United States. The truce will include a prisoner exchange. Russia had earlier announced a separate, two-day unilateral ceasefire for its May 9 World War II Victory Day. Ukraine said it had previously proposed a similar truce, but that offer was ignored by Moscow.
