Amazon Web Services (AWS) will use a key Nvidia technology in its future artificial intelligence (AI) chips. The move aims to attract more major AI customers to its cloud computing services.
AWS announced on Tuesday it will adopt Nvidia's "NVLink Fusion" technology in a coming chip named Trainium4. This technology creates high-speed connections between different types of chips.
The company did not announce a release date for the new Trainium4 chip. The integration is part of AWS's broader effort to compete for advanced AI development projects.
