Philanthropists Michael and Susan Dell have pledged $6.25 billion to create investment accounts for American children. Their foundation will fund accounts for an estimated 25 million young people.
The initiative will place $250 into a dedicated account for each eligible child. These are structured as "Trump Accounts," a type of long-term savings plan designed to grow over time.
The contribution represents one of the largest single philanthropic commitments in recent history. Its goal is to provide a financial foundation for a generation.
The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation will manage the distribution of funds. Further details on eligibility and account access are expected in the coming months.
