The new head of the U.S. Wildland Fire Service is preparing for a dangerous fire season by rushing to add more aircraft. Brian Fennessy says his agency is "trying to bring on additional aircraft and bring them on early." He dismissed criticism of current prevention methods. The warning comes as much of the country faces dry conditions and rising fire risk.
