Israel detains two activists from Gaza flotilla for questioning

Israel has taken two activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla into custody for questioning. The rest of the activists aboard the flotilla were released and taken to the Greek island of Crete. The two detained individuals are Thiago de Avila and Saif Abu Keshek. Israeli authorities have not yet disclosed the specific reasons for their detention. The flotilla was attempting to challenge Israel’s naval blockade of the Gaza Strip.
