Kazakhstan has called on Ukraine to stop attacking a critical Black Sea oil terminal. The request follows a major Ukrainian drone strike that damaged the facility and halted its exports.
The incident targeted a terminal operated by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). This pipeline network handles over one percent of the world's oil supply. A mooring station, essential for loading oil onto tankers, sustained serious damage.
The CPC confirmed it has suspended all operations from the Russian terminal. The consortium's shareholders include companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, and the United States.
Ukraine has recently intensified its attacks on Russian energy infrastructure.
