Turkey’s official statistics agency, TÜİK, has released its 2025 child statistics. The data reveals that 21.3 million children live in the country.
Of these children, 36.8 percent face the risk of poverty or social exclusion. The figures show that while the proportion of children in Turkey’s total population is decreasing, inequality remains persistent.
