Ukraine Strikes Key Russian Oil Port—Again
Ukrainian forces have hit a major Russian oil export terminal in the Baltic Sea. This is the second attack on the same port in just three days.
The strike on April 7 targeted the Ust-Luga facility. This port is a critical hub for Russia's oil exports. The attack is part of a wider Ukrainian campaign.
That campaign focuses on Russia's energy infrastructure. Ukraine aims to damage a key source of Russian state revenue. It also seeks to disrupt military fuel supplies.
The port had only just resumed operations after a previous drone attack on April 4. The repeated strikes show Ukraine's ability to hit targets far from the front lines.
