Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome on Thursday. This is his third major European visit this week.
A spokesperson for Zelenskyy confirmed the meeting. The president is also scheduled to meet with Italy's head of state, President Sergio Mattarella.
The trip to Italy follows similar visits to Germany and Norway. The series of meetings is seen as a continued effort to secure military, financial, and political support for Ukraine's war effort against Russia.
