At least 30 people are dead and dozens are injured after a crowd crush at Haiti's famous Citadelle Henry fortress. Officials say many of the victims were young.
The tragedy occurred on Saturday at the mountaintop site, a popular tourist destination. The Citadelle is a large 19th-century fortress built after Haiti won independence from France.
Jean Henri Petit, head of civil protection for the Nord region, confirmed the incident. More people are reported missing. The cause of the crush is under investigation.
