Husband Washes Ashore in Bahamas After Wife Lost at Sea

A missing American woman is feared lost at sea after her husband washed ashore alone in the Bahamas. The man told rescuers his wife fell overboard from their small boat. Brian Hooker was found exhausted on a rocky beach in Marsh Harbour. A local boatyard employee discovered him and alerted authorities. Hooker said he and his wife were traveling in a dinghy, a type of small boat, when the incident occurred. He reported she fell overboard, leaving him adrift overnight before reaching land. Bahamian police and the U.S. Coast Guard have launched a search and rescue operation for the missing woman. The investigation is ongoing.
