Spain Calls for Two-State Solution to End Middle East Conflict

Spain has renewed its call for a two-state solution to resolve the long-standing conflict between Israel and Palestine. The Spanish government believes this is the only way to achieve a permanent peace. "It is time to put an end to so much suffering and to build a lasting peace," said Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares. He emphasized that creating independent Israeli and Palestinian states is the necessary path forward. A two-state solution would establish Palestine as an independent nation alongside Israel.
