The U.S. Army has opened an investigation after two of its attack helicopters flew near the home of musician Kid Rock.
The singer, a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, posted videos of the incident on social media. The footage shows two AH-64 Apache helicopters hovering close to his property in Nashville, Tennessee. Kid Rock is seen saluting the aircraft.
Military officials confirmed the aircraft were U.S. Army helicopters. They stated the purpose of the flight is now under formal review.
The Army has strict rules governing the use of its aircraft. These regulations are meant to prevent the military from being used for private or political purposes.
