Ukrainian forces are now using unmanned ground vehicles, or "land drones," to deliver essential supplies and evacuate wounded soldiers. This new tactic is a response to the extreme danger on the frontline, which is heavily monitored by aerial drones.
Traditional vehicles are too vulnerable to enemy attacks. The slow-moving, remote-controlled buggies provide a safer alternative for moving through these exposed areas.
Some injured soldiers reportedly refuse evacuation by the land drones due to fear. Despite this, the machines have become a vital lifeline for troops who have held their positions for months under constant threat.
