Brazil's former president, Jair Bolsonaro, will serve his 27-year prison sentence at home. A Supreme Court justice made this ruling due to Bolsonaro's failing health.
The sentence is for his attempt to overthrow the government. This followed his loss in Brazil's last presidential election.
Justice Alexandre de Moraes issued the decision. It came after Bolsonaro was hospitalized with pneumonia on March 13.
The former leader has had serious health issues since 2018. He was stabbed by a man before he was elected president.
