Two pilots died when their small charter plane collided with a parked aircraft on the runway at a New York airport.
The crash happened at MacArthur Airport on Long Island. The plane was carrying 11 passengers at the time.
Emergency crews responded quickly. First responders pulled the injured from the wreckage.
In total, 13 people were taken to nearby hospitals. This number includes all 11 passengers and two of the first responders who were hurt during the rescue operation.
The cause of the collision is under active investigation by federal authorities. Airport officials confirmed the parked aircraft was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
