World Health Organization (WHO) officials have honored Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with a major award. The WHO Regional Director for Europe, Dr. Hans Kluge, presented the award at the 11th Turkish Medical World Congress in Ankara.
The award recognizes Türkiye's extensive humanitarian efforts for Palestinians. These efforts include providing critical medical aid and supporting health services in the region.
Dr. Kluge personally presented the award to President Erdogan during the ceremony. The event brought together medical professionals from across the country and the Turkish diaspora.
