Vingegaard wins again in Giro; Eulálio keeps pink jersey
Jonas Vingegaard won his second Giro d’Italia stage in three days on Sunday. The Danish rider broke away alone on the final climb to take stage nine.
The 184-kilometer stage ended with a summit finish at Corno alle Scale. Vingegaard tracked his rival Felix Gall of Decathlon when the Austrian attacked near the end. But Vingegaard powered ahead in the last kilometer to win.
His teammate Davide Piganzoli finished third.
Afonso Eulálio finished safely behind and kept the overall leader’s pink jersey.
