Scottie Scheffler Struggles Early in PGA Final Round

sports
Harris English started strong in the final round of the US PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club. The 36-year-old from Georgia birdied two of his first three holes and nearly made another on the sixth. His iron shot stopped five feet from the cup, but he missed the putt. He remains at three under par. English finished second in two majors last year, both behind Scottie Scheffler. He also tied for 12th at the Masters. This year, he tied for 30th at Augusta but is performing well again. Scottie Scheffler has not had the start he wanted. The world number one began the day at one under par, tied for 23rd. No player has ever won a major from outside the top 20 after 54 holes. He birdied the second hole but bogeyed the par-three fifth after a poor chip. He is now level for his round and still at one under par through six holes.
