Hong Kong singer vows to be ‘companion’ to 2019 arrested youth

Hong Kong singer Hins Cheung has promised to act as a companion, not a mentor, to young people arrested during the 2019 anti-government protests. He made the pledge at a youth rehabilitation event on Tuesday night. The sharing session, titled “New Opportunity, New Journey”, took place at the Hong Kong Museum of History. More than 300 people attended, including protest arrestees, university students, and members of three neighbourhood groups.
