Tourists arrested after Hong Kong hotpot fight leaves both injured
HONG KONG – Two tourists were arrested after a violent brawl broke out in a serviced apartment following a hotpot meal, police said. The fight, over “trivial matters,” left both the Malaysian man and mainland Chinese woman with facial injuries. Police were alerted to the incident at K11 Artus at 11.47pm on Monday. The pair, both visiting Hong Kong for sightseeing, had met earlier that day while shopping at K11 Musea. An argument escalated into a physical altercation, police sources said. Both were arrested and taken to hospital for treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
