**Suspect in 40-Year-Old Paris Restaurant Massacre Arrested in West Bank**
Palestinian authorities have handed over a suspect in a deadly 1982 attack on a Jewish restaurant in Paris. The suspect, Hicham Harb, was transferred to French officials.
Harb is accused of directing the attack and acting as one of the gunmen. On August 9, 1982, assailants threw a grenade and opened fire at the Jo Goldenberg restaurant in the Rue des Rosiers area. Six people were killed and 22 wounded.
The attack is one of France's oldest unsolved anti-Semitic cases. Harb was arrested in the West Bank city of Jenin. His handover follows a request under a Palestinian-French legal agreement.
French anti-terrorism prosecutors are leading the investigation. They have not yet commented on Harb's transfer or potential charges.
