**Turkey Replaces Ambassadors in Seven Nations, Recalls Three**
Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a major diplomatic reshuffle, appointing new ambassadors to seven countries and recalling three senior envoys back to headquarters in Ankara.
The new ambassadors will be posted to Bolivia, Ecuador, Ghana, Sudan, Libya, Vietnam, and Turkmenistan.
Among those recalled to Ankara are Ertan Yalçın, the ambassador to Bolivia, and Makbule Başak Yalçın, the ambassador to Ecuador. Also recalled is Yasin Akar, who currently serves as the General Director of Disabled and Elderly Services in the Ministry of Family and Social Services. Mr. Akar is a senior diplomat previously tipped for an ambassadorial role.
Such rotations are a standard part of diplomatic service. The moves are seen as aligning Turkey's international representation with its current foreign policy priorities. The newly appointed ambassadors are expected to assume their posts after standard approval procedures.
